At Herman K, you step into a world of style, peace and comfort on the award-winning, 31-room boutique hotel near some of the most important areas of downtown Copenhagen, Denmark. Between 2016 and 2018, a historic transformer station from the 1960s was turned into this unique hotel offering peace and tranquillity within a vibrant green oasis amidst the city’s pulsating life. The project received an award in 2019 for its well-executed and thoughtful renovation infusing the historic concrete structure with modern features, humane essence and soul.

Herman K offers a quiet retreat where the decoration and the raw interior from the transformer station combine into unique rooms. The rooms are equipped with luxurious materials in tone-on-tone neutrals that bring both warmth, comfort and aesthetic pleasure.
