The Fleur de Loire hotel, a former hospice in the heart of Blois, France, consists of 44 rooms including 11 suites, the iconic Christophe Hay restaurant and a spa. A 17th century building by Gaston d’Orleans, brother of King Louis XIII, the hotel is designed as a family home that promises a stay of tranquillity in beautiful surroundings with a rich historical heritage.

The decoration of the house was entrusted to architect and interior designer Caroline Tissier who drew primarily on the region’s landscapes, thus playing with naturalism that materialise in several carpet designs from the ReForm A New Wave and Atelier by Monsieur Christian Lacroix collections. The fluidity and elegance of the décor are accentuated by the interweaving of natural materials, evoking the ebb and flow of the Loire River, to create a truly timeless setting. Touches of matte gold and brass are also featured, paying tribute to the impressive past of the city and the châteaux of the Loire Valley.
